These 8 Women of Wonsulting Are Changing the World Everyday

If you didn’t know already, today is International Women’s Day (March 8th). International Women’s Day is a time to reflect on progress made, to call for change and to celebrate acts of courage and determination by ordinary women, who have played an extraordinary role in the history of their countries and communities (United Nations).

At Wonsulting, we’ve had the privilege of hiring 8 amazing women who have always abided with our mission of turning underdogs into winners. In this article, I talk about each of these individuals, who they are, and what they mean to Wonsulting.

Josephine Foong, Marketing Lead at Wonsulting

Josephine Foong is our Marketing Lead at Wonsulting who has been turning underdogs into winners since Day 1. Before we hired her, we noticed her willingness to help others, whether it was for DEI initiatives or #HIREBLACK, and knew she would be an integral asset to the team. During her interview process, she presented a deck (with funny memes) with also a plan of what she was going to accomplish if she was hired. She even helped create our Wonsulting Resources with our Wonsulting Resume Template, Wonsulting Cover Letter Template, and more all for free!

Josephine’s underdog turned winner story stems from her willingness to help and put others first. Coming from an International Background, it’s sometimes difficult to land a job here in the states but she showed that hard work truly pays off and the true definition of grit. When I speak to her regarding her rejections from companies and other topics, I can tell that she’s passionate about not only getting into her career but helping those from minority backgrounds do the same.

Jahnavi Gudi, Strategy/Program Lead at Wonsulting

Jahnavi Gudi is our Strategy/Program Lead at Wonsulting. Jahnavi and I first met on Linkedin almost a year ago; at first, I remember she reached out to me and thought she was interested in one of our Wonsulting Services, specifically our Wonsulting Job Search Strategy. However, I realized how happy she was to lend a helping hand with Wonsulting, doing competitive research and analysis to show us what we were doing that could be improved but also different market segments we should go into. Jahnavi played an important part in launching The20, a Wonsulting Company, where we had almost 1,000 applicants and had to choose from a select amount of 20.

Jahnavi’s underdog turned winner story comes from everything she does for others; she sees nothing as transactional. Rather, she gives to the world and expects nothing in return; thankfully, the world gives back to her in numerous ways.

Tanya Raja, Strategy Analyst at Wonsulting

Tanya Raja is a Strategy Analyst at Wonsulting. Tanya and I actually met when I did my first workshop at University of British Columbia called How to Network Effectively: Leveraging LinkedIn. I remember presenting during the event with fellow Wonsulting Mentee Benjamin Ansari, and Tanya would ask questions regarding what we presented on Job Search Strategy and LinkedIn Strategies. Her questions showed her willingness to learn, something that I personally look for in people because when I was in university, I would be the one always asking questions during the Q&A sessions.

Tanya exemplifies an underdog turned winner because of how she listens to the words of wisdom Wonsulting gives but also how she loves to give back to her community. She always asks questions on how she can make our services better for our clients, as she’s contributed directly to the many Wonsulting Reviews and Wonsulting Success Stories from the past 2 years!

Veronica Saitta, YouTube/SEO Strategy Lead at Wonsulting

Veronica Saitta is our YouTube/SEO Strategy Lead at Wonsulting. Also known as Ronnie, Ronnie is the “queen of YouTube”, helping the Wonsulting YouTube channel grow to 2,270+ followers during her time here with some amazing videos including the following:

• How To Set Up Your LinkedIn Profile

And more! Not only has she created amazing Wonsulting YouTube videos but she’s also improved significantly on how to make videos more SEO friendly. For example, in her YouTube video made about Jerry Lee on How To Write a Resume With No Work Experience, you can tell in the bio section that she included many different descriptions and more; how did she learn this? All on her own!

Through these experiences, she’s grown to even make her own YouTube channel and TikTok. Her curiosity on how things work will bring her far in life, and that’s why she’s always a winner: those who are intellectually curious are always one step ahead, and that’s the definition of who Ronnie is!

Isabelle Lee, Partnerships Intern at Wonsulting

Isabelle Lee is our Partnerships Intern at Wonsulting. Isabelle has been crushing it with our Wonsulting Partnerships, having helped us land with Schools & Organizations including TAMID, Delta Sigma Pi, ALPFA, and more! We’ve been able to now have 200+ speaking engagements to teach students about how to network using LinkedIn, finding the hiring manager on LinkedIn, and hundreds more. What’s even more special about Isabelle is her passion for Diversity & Inclusion, Mental Health, and Human Resources. Her constant reminders of taking breaks from work and having positive health is what keeps our team going every single day!

Isabelle is a person who gives from the heart because of her compassion for helping others both in their career and regarding mental health. Although it was out of her core responsibilities, she even created our onboarding process for our new interns! If you need someone to make you happier and make you smile, Isabelle is that person!

Cheyenne Trac, Partnerships Intern at Wonsulting

Cheyenne Trac is our Partnerships Intern at Wonsulting. Cheyenne is always on top of things specifically with partnering with University Career Centers including University of Texas at Austin, Pepperdine University, and more. Although she may not get responses from some of these career centers, she’s keeps on going and shows true grit by following up and ensuring she maintains rapport with these individuals. She truly shows how the Power of LinkedIn works!

Cheyenne brings a willingness to learn and also implement feedback which allows her to grow and advance so much in her career. I personally believe that my sister Rachel Javier and her are very similar in terms of their interest in the entertainment field and also creating TikToks/fun content. Cheyenne brings a humor and fun side to things, and that’s what makes her special!

Ida Hui, Web Development at Wonsulting

Ida Hui runs our Web Development/Design at Wonsulting. She’s been an integral part in creating so many of our amazing resources and web pages on our Wonsulting Website: whether it’s for our Wonsulting Course, Wonsulting Reviews/Wonsulting Success Stories, and more, Ida gets it done in a timely manner. She also is always learning more about how to improve her web design skills through platforms including Squarespace and now Webflow which has helped create even more amazing initiatives for Wonsulting!

Ida’s mindset of taking on new challenges and skills sets her apart from others; although she wasn’t an expert in one skill, she takes time to learn the skill and utilize it to help Wonsulting’s website be even better than it already is. She even helped create our Wonsulting Resources page so we can help turn more underdogs into winners, and that’s what Wonsulting is all about!

Elaine Huang, Customer Operations at Wonsulting

Elaine Huang runs our Customer Operations at Wonsulting. She’s always on top of our email inquiries, sometimes responding to 100+ emails a day from many of the underdogs who want to turn into winners. She answers questions, whether about our Wonsulting Resources, Wonsultation service, and more in a detailed manner to help them make an educated decision whether or not to work with us at Wonsulting.

Elaine also has a mindset of making people happy through her actions. Some of these actions include bringing us food from a wide variation of restaurants as can be found on her Food Instagram. I’m thankful she’s a part of the team and keeps me not hungry!

Conclusion

Today is International Women’s Day, but everyday, we should be celebrating the female leaders who make a difference in our lives. Thankfully, I get to work with 8 of them on a daily basis who are true underdogs turned into winners. Without them, there would be no W in Wonsulting.
